I'm a front-end engineer specializing in building cross-platform mobile and web applications with React, React Native, and TypeScript. Currently pursuing my Master's in Computer Engineering at Hacettepe University while working at Commencis on enterprise-scale applications.
01. About Me
Hello! I'm Ömer Faruk Polat, a passionate front-end engineer currently pursuing my Master's degree in Computer Engineering at Hacettepe University. I graduated from TOBB University of Economics and Technology with a B.S. in Computer Engineering in 2022.
I currently work at Commencis as a Web Front-end Engineer, where I've contributed to major projects including Transavia Airlines and Air Astana mobile applications, as well as Anadolu Sigorta's cross-platform application. My experience spans from building serverless mobile applications to developing enterprise-scale solutions with modern web technologies.
Previously, I worked at Token Financial Technologies (Koç Holding's fintech company) and Siemens, where I gained valuable experience in full-stack development, working with diverse technologies and agile methodologies. I'm passionate about creating intuitive user interfaces and writing clean, maintainable code.
When I'm not coding, I enjoy image processing, playing stringed instruments, exploring video games, and discovering new culinary experiences.
